Dale Marzewski

Our conductor, Dale Marzewski, is a graduate of Wayne State University, with Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Music Education. Dale has taught band in Livonia Public Schools, Clinton Community Schools, and Howell Public Schools, where retired after a 33 year career. Dale has been a guest conductor for Livonia Churchill High School, Livonia Franklin High School, Emerson Junior High, Pinckney Middle School, Wayne State University and Vandercook College (Chicago, Ill). He has guest lectured at Wayne State University and Western Michigan University. As Director of Bands at Howell High School, his bands performed throughout the eastern United States, including performances at the Knoxville, Tennessee World’s Fair, Harvard University in Boston, and Northern Illinois University. His marching bands have performed halftime shows for professional football teams in Detroit, Toronto, and Montreal. His high school Jazz Bands have also performed numerous concerts in the U.S. and Canada.
